Dinozzo was a wild fox cub living an ordinary life until the day his mother was killed after being hit by a car.
When wild baby animals loose their parents their chance for survival is nearly nonexistent. Lucky for Dinozzo, he was found sitting beside his mother’s dead body and handed over to a vet. At only 3-weeks-old he was given another chance at growing up under the care of a loving mother.
After being checked over by a vet, animal-loving couple Werner and Angelika Schmaing from Oberscheld, Germany stepped up and adopted Dinozzo. Ziva, the couple’s collie dog with great motherly instincts, couldn’t be happier about having an adorable fox around the house. Ziva has since taken the baby fox in as if he was her very own.
The family also owns two adopted piglets and a Bengal cat that goes by the name Leopold. It’s not just Ziva the dog that loves the baby fox; Leopold has also developed a special friendship with the sweet little fox. Together the dotting dog and cat have made Dinozzo feel very welcome in his new home, helping provide him with the love he so very much deserves.
A cat, dog and fox make one unlikely trio but it doesn’t get much cuter than this!
Dinozzo has even learned a thing or two from his new pals, including how to use the cat-door to come and go as he pleases. Werner said, “We’ve decided to let him live like any other fox outside the house.” Despite Dinozzo’s access to freely roam the surrounding area he prefers to spend time with his new best friends.

Love these true stories they make me happy for them to find a home.
Cool..very cool.. and this dog breed was my dog when I was under 4 yrs old.. loved my Laddie
Cute, but it's "doting" not "dotting."
Animals just know when ages and instincts are brought together. The needs are met somehow 2 leggeds and 4 leggeds seem to blend .
Wonderful story but please edit your spelling. Otherwise very moving! (Sorry, I'm very picky about the printed word being accurate.)
Hey Musiclady.. Are you offended? Very picky? You need to get laid, so you don't let trivial things like this irritate you. What a joke!
Such a beautiful story. I'm so glad that sweet little fox found such a wonderful friend to care for him. Bless them both.
This is a wonderful story Nature is awesome
"Hey Musiclady.. Are you offended? Very picky? You need to get laid, so you don't let trivial things like this irritate you. What a joke!" - I have no problem in that department!
"Anonymous" complains about the spelling of one word, and then tears into someone else who does the same thing? Anonymous -- get a life and get over yourself! You need professional help!!
Dayuuuuum!! Ya'll need to smoke a joint and chill TF out!!!
I wish humans would be asccepting, loving and peaceful as animals.
WHAT A B E A U T I F U L LUVING STORY !!!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THESE STORIES!!!!!
Love this story, too bad people have to find something negative to complain about.
Love these heartwarming stories
This family watches NCIS :)
Nature is awesome
What a delightful story & such beautiful pics.. heart warming & uplifting..
Great story, and also lovely to see The rough"Lassie" Collie, we have had three of these gentle animals. Thank you.
Nice story, but I’d prefer better grammar too - it’s distracting and unprofessional.
FOX AND DOG RESEMBLE EACH OTHER. SO GREAT
I love this story! I also love proper grammar and spelling. I also adore how well and often I get laid. I do not love how somebody expressing a preference for the proper use of language gets teased by somebody who I'm sure would insist on the proper use of a scalpel in the operating room.
Omg that is so awesomely beautiful!
Lighten up with the grammar! Who cares. I think you get the general message. OOOOOOH, Pahdon me -- I didn't know I needed a Ph. D. in linguistics and philosophy. I love people who complain about grammar issues ... Why yes, we as so much superior then most of us ...
Excellent pair !!!
This is an adorable, heart-warming story. If only human beings loved seeing no boundaries, the world would be a better place.
Is the proofreader vacancy still available?
Wonderful story, but the dog is not a Collie. That is a Shetland Sheepdog aka "Sheltie". They are part of the general collie family, but are a separate type with much shorter legs. You can tell by how much closer to the ground it stands. They are fantastic dogs though, I loved the boy I had.
I hope the Human Race will take notice of the way in which this so called lower species treats others.
I love this story...our animals are so amazing and so loving!! Something people need to learn...there is no difference among us all!! We are ALL ONE!!
Lets focus on the issue of the dog and fox kit. People seem to get off subject at times. In this case the spelling is not taking away from the pleasing and enjoyable issue of animals being peaceful and caring for each other. I hope the stress of the spelling, or breeds, can be overlooked and just focus on enjoying the fact these two animals can are getting along! Apparently much better than many adults in this day.
omg someone spelled a word wrong!!!! jail time, wtf I didnt even notice or care, I was actually paying attention to the pictures and story, get over yourself geeeeeeez!!!!
Nothing makes my Heart feel so warm, as reading stories like this!, God Bless these awesome Creature's of God, and God Bless these Awesome Rescuers! <3
Be gone, usageasters. Be kind.
What's everybody arguing for? Let it go and enjoy the story, it's a tiny thing that doesn't have any effect on your life. Relax
it's also lose, not loose, but that's neither here nor there. I love the NCIS reference names. And just because someone prefers proper grammar and spelling, does not mean we don't get enough nookie. Why are people arguing? This is an adorable story and you bullies need SPANKINGS! Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, have a glass of coquito and enjoy life!
