Russian worker Ivan Kislov sure knows how to make use of his work breaks. While working in Chukotka, Russia’s most north-eastern region, he takes some of the cutest photos of foxes to be published on the Internet.

 Kislov enjoys going on “hikes to inaccessible places, raftings,” or just simple walking tours to “observe the wildlife.”

“Foxes are curious and can come very close, and I shoot with wide angle and telephoto lenses,” said Kislov. Foxes are natural models, so we’re more than happy to share his newest work.

The Chukchi Peninsula projects eastward forming the Bering Strait between Russia and Alaska, and encloses the north side of the Gulf of Anadyr. The peninsula's easternmost point, Cape Dezhnev, is also the easternmost point of mainland Russia.


Ecologically, Chukotka can be divided into three distinct areas: the northern Arctic desert, the central tundra, and the taiga in the south. About half of its area is above the Arctic Circle. This area is very mountainous, containing the Chukotsky Mountains and the Anadyr Range.
