Troop of baby foxes found in Princeton backyard
Philip Wang stumbled across a troop of baby foxes in the backyard of his 7-acre Princeton, New Jersey, home. He and his daughter, Alice, photographed the little troop as they waited for their mother to bring back dinner.
"I see red foxes a few times a year, so I know we have foxes around," Philip said, "but last week I heard like a soft 'meowing' like a cat near a shed. And then I saw that they were very young foxes and started taking their pictures everyday. And they are very, very cute."
Foxes are found on every continent except Antarctica, and are considered pests by most. This is reflected in folk-stories across the globe, where foxes are usually depicted as tricksters. But did you know that the English expression sour grapes comes from a story about a fox in Aesop’s Fables? It’s used when you criticize something you want because you can’t have it, like an expensive jacket.

Did the people say if the mother fox was around...she must have felt comfortable to leave them there..probably to hunt for food. I hope she came back for them. They need her.
