If you can't get away from your desk to travel, you might as well watch a little hedgehog do it in your place.

This is Biddy. He's a 4-year-old African pygmy hedgehog who has been more places than you might ever go, all while being incredibly cute and squish-worthy.

As you can see, Biddy has been many places in the Pacific Northwest. He's crawled around the Painted Hills of Oregon, the Lewis & Clark Recreation Site and Smith Rock State Park. There's the time he posed in a drink koozie near an Oregon waterfall, and the time he was almost smuggled over the border to California. (Biddy can't travel everywhere, due to state laws against hedgehogs.)

His intrepid spirit certainly is the travel inspiration we need to get out there and just do it.


Biddy dwells permanently in Oregon with his parents, where he documents his trips for 601,000 Instagram followers. Of course, he stars in a desk calendar as well.
