Artist overwhelmed with demand for her realistic wild animal sculptures
They might look like real baby animals, but what you are seeing is actually incredibly realistic baby animal toys by sculptor Lee Cross who also goes by the name Wood Splitter Lee.
She has mastered the craft of creating poseable life-like baby animals, and they are the cutest thing we have ever seen.
The process to make these poseable toy animals starts with a skeleton that she then wraps in stuffing to make it soft. They are then covered in cloth and hand decorated with synthetic fur and paint.
As Lee points out on every piece she creates, they are all hand made and not one of them is made from a mold.(Source)

Little wolf, you made my day.😊
I WANT ONE!
Where can you purchase these & how much?
The Nose is too short and that makes it look like a dog
Soo00 cute - would love to buy one. ?
despite what ol' 'eagleeye' says (which made me laugh and fell sad for them and the creator of these having to read stupid, ridiculous criticism like that)... THESE are gorgeous, and no doubt much love and care is put into creating and bringing these to life... I am trying to find online where to order one... would make a special Christmas present for my son... (*and I would get to enjoy too!). Just lovely.
I need one. how much are they?
http://wood-splitter-lee.deviantart.com/ << She makes them. Though they are not cheap they usually sell for hundreds of dollars. She also made her own lil fantasy book.
They are so cute, wish I could afford to get one, love wolves
