A big pile of leaves is no obstacle for Stella the dog when she's chasing her tennis ball.

She dives straight into the pile and busts back out, wagging her tail and reminding us all why this season is the best.

Though the yellow lab does not have any medical problems, according to her owner, she has a pretty signature way of coming to a halt when she's done with the leaves.

We're not quite sure how -- or why -- she learned how to pump the brakes in this way, but it's adorable.
