October 4 is World Animal Day, a global event celebrating animals big and small, from coast to coast and sea to sea around the world.
Although it was started in 1931 to draw attention to the endangered species is has since "become a day for remembering and paying tribute to all animals and the people who love and respect them. It's celebrated in different ways in every country, with no regard to nationality, religion, faith or political ideology."
It's a day to appreciate the animals that make our lives complete.
The aim of World Animal Day is to improve animal welfare standards worldwide through the support and involvement of individuals, groups and organisations that care about animals. Building the celebration of World Animal Day is a wonderful way to unite the animal welfare movement around the world, embracing all animals and the unique concerns of each in every country.
We encourage everybody to use this special day to commemorate their love and respect for animals by doing something special to highlight their importance in the world. It’s something that everyone can join in with whether they are part of an organisation, group, or an individual. It’s celebrated in different ways in every country, with no regard to nationality, religion, faith or political ideology.

Wolves are one of my Spirit Animals! They are good parents, providers, teachers and they take care of family!
We invaded their habitat and mow, they have very little space! What does Almighty man expect of them? They Must not become extinct as they are too important to the ecosystem!
The pups are hilarious to watch in play and when they are learning to howl and to hunt!
I love wolves!There my fav!
