See Paris as you've never seen it before as Victor the white-tailed eagle glides over the city wearing a tiny camera
It's a vantage point that few people have ever enjoyed in person, but now everyone can see what Paris looks like from the very tip of the Eiffel Tower.
Victor the white-tailed eagle was sent up to the top of the iconic landmark with a small camera strapped to his back. The resulting footage gives an incredible glimpse into what Paris looks like from the back of a bird.
After launching himself off the Eiffel Tower, Victor glides over the Trocadero before plunging to the ground at a speed of about 180 km/h to meet his handler.
The video was shot by film project 'Freedom' to support the conservation of white-tailed eagles born in captivity, by teaching them to fly and hunt.
