A Rockrimmon man rescued a fawn from a window well as the mother watches

Stories you hear involving deer aren't always good. They're usually about hunting or car crashes.

Here's a story that's a game changer when it comes to man versus deer.

A man in Colorado became an unlikely hero after he rescued a fawn. The mother deer was hovering near a window well and he knew the baby animal had fallen down into the well.

KKTV talked to Todd Dierdorff, who went down into the window well to pull the baby deer out.


Dierdorff placed the fawn on the ground next to its mother, and you see in the video, on unsteady legs, the baby deer follows after its mom as they walk away.
