 Red Nation Film Festival considers itself an “Authentic Voice of American Indian & Indigenous Cinema”. It is dedicated to breaking the barrier of racism by successfully replacing American Indian stereotype with recognition, new vision, arts, culture and economic prosperity by placing American Indian Filmmakers at the forefront of the entertainment industry and to introduce American Indian Filmmakers to larger, global mainstream audiences while establishing relations between the American Indian community and the entertainment industry.

The film festival is held every year in November during American Indian Heritage Month.

The Red Nation Film Festival & Awards Show celebrates the accomplishments of American Indian & Indigenous people in the fields of film, television, and Network and also honors individuals or groups who promote social justice through creative endeavors in support of American Indian. Winners will be announced during the three-hour star-studded event, which will be held on Wednesday, November 14 (7:00-10:00) at Harmony Gold.
