Animals Who Adopt Other Animals
Non-human animals aren’t usually credited with emotions like generosity or empathy, but those are the simplest explanations for the decisions of cats, pigs, tigers, and many others to adopt babies who not only were not theirs genetically, but were a different species entirely.
VIDEO 1 One example is a cat who adopted a baby squirrel into her litter of kittens. The cat, Emmy, adopted, suckled, and raised the squirrel, Rocky, as her own. Rocky blended right in with his siblings, even learning to purr when stroked.
VIDEO 2 Another cat adopted a needy rabbit.
VIDEO 3 A golden retriever adopted three white tiger cubs in a Kansas safari park when their mother rejected them.
VIDEO 4 When a zoo decided, for whatever unfathomable reason, to take piglets away from their mother and put them with a tiger mom instead, the babies and the tiger took to each other right away.
VIDEO 5 A monkey adopted an orphaned kitten.
The examples go on and on across so many species that it is hard to deny these adoptive mothers are motivated by compassion, and perhaps even love. Animals deserve so much more credit than we give them.

You see some beings can be happy and safe regardless of breed. Loved it White Wolf. Warmed the cockles of my heart. Sarva mangalam <3
God exists in Nature,
That is soooo cool!! I love animals!
God's creatures take care of each other.
How awesome is that!
The Tiger and the piglets are purely a tourist 'attraction' at a dubious Thai zoo.
God is Nature. So why wouldn't all animals get along. Too bad people can't.
I believe that the Mother Tiger's own babies dies and she was severely depressed so the zoo got her replacement ones and she cheered right up!
I heard the same story about the Tiger...her cubs didn't survive so, they used the piglets to help her get over the loss.
