Congress recently delisted the wolves from the protection of the Endangered Species Act in the Spring of this year. This has opened up the states of Montana and Idaho to once again hold wolf hunts this Fall with the goal of drastically reducing the wolf populations in those states to a level that cannot be considered genetically sound. These actions have also been contested by a group of biology and ecology trained scientists who have also stated the same concerns.
Please take a moment to sign the Federal Petition to stop the wolf hunts pending the 9th District Court of Appeals decision. Thank you.
We petition the obama administration to:
Halt wolf hunts pending 9th District Court of Appeals decision and scientific research to confirm wolf recovery data.
Due to a 2011 budget rider (Sec. 1713), gray wolves lost federal protection under the ESA. It orders the Interior Secretary to reissue the final delisting rule published in 2009. Articles written by scientists in independent peer-reviewed journals criticized the 2009 rule for complying more with political expediency instead of best available science. This is regarded as a particularly egregious affront to the voice of the majority and to fair representation in our country. The rider circumvents the District Court’s ruling in Defenders of Wildlife, 729 F.Supp.2d 1207, and was designed to direct the outcome of a pending case without amending the underlying statute involved. We join the Union of Concerned Scientists in denouncing this action.

Please stop hunting the wolf.. );
Please read the literature that demonstrates how the wolves are helpful to our ecosystems and stop living in the middle ages!
Wolves are living with us from 100.000 years. And if we are here today is also for help of wolves. This is story, not only words! Wolves are our partner in the nature, always!
Stop the Wolf Hunts now. The Wolfs are a part of our Culture. The are a Beautiful Animal.
Wolves have been around long before man even existed!!!
We don't want gimmicks, games, nor empty promises...
We want action to STOP HUNTING AND KILLING OF OUR
NOBLE AND SACRED WOLVES NOW!!!!
Our Native American sisters and brothers revere them
very sacred as they are part of their heritage and spirituality!
Stop the senseless killing or there will be a revolution
from the likes never before experienced in modern-day America!!!!
We are their only voice. PROTECT THEM!
Stop the wolf hunts. They harm no one and keep to themselves.
We took from the Native Americans thier land then promised them thier own then the goverment to that promise and reshaped thier land. The goverment will promise anything than tack that promise and change it anyway they want.
I WILL NOT BEG TO SAVE THEM BECAUSE I AM NOT A BEGGER I AM A VOICE LIKE EVERYONE ELSE IN THIS WORLD! I WILL NOT BEG TO SAVE THE WOLVES BUT I WILL STAND BESIDE MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS TO SAVE OUR FRIEND.
!!!BUT I WILL NOT BEG!!!
PLease stop killing our wolves. Some went through a lot to preserve them when they were facing extinction. It would be a shame to let a few discontents to destroy such a beautiful animal. I myself am kind of Cherokee and feel an affinity to the wolves. SAVE THEM , PLEASE!!!
